Introduction to the
Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement

The Bureau enforces a variety of programs mandated by state law such as the licensing of all dogs over three months of age, licensing of kennels, paying indemnities, investigating complaints involving dogs and enforcing the rabies vaccination law.

If you have a dog that does not currently have a valid Dog License, Fill out the "Dog License Application" which can be found in the links above and send it to:

The Treasurers office will mail the dog tags to you IF YOU INCLUDE A SELF- ADDRESSED RETURN ENVELOPE WITH SUFFICIENT POSTAGE.
Otherwise, you MUST pick them up in Milford at the Pike County Administration Building at 506 Broad Street.
