MINUTES Regular Monthly Meeting Lackawaxen Township Board of Supervisors, Wednesday October 15, 2008
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman Stuart, Supervisor Gelderman, Supervisor Krochta, Solicitor Waldron and Municipal Clerk Roe were present.
A motion was made by Stuart to accept the agenda as presented. Second by Gelderman. Motion accepted.
A motion was made by Gelderman to approve the minutes of last months meeting. Second by Stuart. Motion accepted.
A motion was made by Stuart to approve the bills in the amount of $120,173.94 in the general fund . Second by Krochta. Motion accepted.
OLD BUSINESS
Blue Heron Woods- A motion was made by Stuart to approve and execute the Phase 1 Developers Agreement. Second by Krochta. Motion accepted.
All Tune & Lube- A motion was made by Stuart to approve the amended Conditional Use permit for All Tune & Lube of NEPA. Second by Gelderman. Motion accepted.
Jeffrey Saaf- A motion was made by Gelderman to approve the Minor Subdivision/ Lot Consolidation for Jeffrey Saaf. Second by Stuart. Motion accepted. Krochta abstained.
Resolution #06-2008- A motion was made by Stuart to adopt Resolution for the on lot sewage management agreement for lot #114 in Tink Wig for James Carlin. Second by Krochta. Motion accepted.
John & Laura Olert- A motion was made by Stuart to table the Minor Subdivision for Olert until the comments are received from Pike County Planning for next month. Second by Gelderman. Motion accepted.
NEW BUSINESS
Oliff- A motion was made by Stuart to approve the Lot consolidation for Lots #69 & #70 in Masthope. Second by Krochta. Motion accepted.
SOLICITOR'S REPORT
Township Building- Written Decision was received by Richard Henry for the Conditional Use with no conditions Nuisance Ordinance- Workshop would be scheduled for November 12th at 6:15 pm at Lackawaxen Fire Station. Would need to notify the Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, Communities Association Group. This workshop would be open to the public. Needs to be advertised. Building Code Ordinance- Need to send Ordinance Amendment to Labor &Industry for approval- Will advertise after approval has been received by Labor & Industry. This ordinance would amend our current ordinance that a building permit would not be required for a shed up to 400 sq-ft. but a zoning permit would still be required. Dziedzina/Putzrath- Regarding a minor subdivision which was approved four or five months ago. A motion was made by Stuart to approve Tony to authorize a waiver letter. Second by Gelderman. Motion accepted.
